President Donald Trump welcomed the 2025 world champions from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) to the White House on March 13, 2026.[1][2]
The group, crowned at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas in December 2025, included PRCA all-around and bull riding champion Stetson Wright of Milford, Utah.[1][3] Wright arrived leading the early 2026 season all-around standings, ranked second in saddle bronc riding and 10th in bull riding.[1][2]
Other PRCA champions present were bareback riding winner Rocker Steiner of Weatherford, Texas; steer wrestling champion Tucker Allen, who won his first world title in 2025; and team roping champions Andrew Ward and Jake Long, who secured their first PRCA world titles.[1][2]
WPRA champions attending included barrel racing winner Kassie Mowry of Prescott Valley, Arizona, and breakaway roping champion Taylor Munsell.[1][2]
The PRCA, founded in 1936, is the principal organization sanctioning professional rodeo events in the United States. The National Finals Rodeo determines annual world champions across multiple events after a season-long points race.[3][4]
Wright, 23, has won three PRCA all-around world titles (2020, 2022, 2023) and two bull riding titles (2022, 2023).[3][5] Steiner, 20, won the 2023 bareback riding world championship.[3][6]
During the Oval Office visit, guests demonstrated types of ropes used in rodeo events in a video shared by White House communications aide Margo Martin. Trump remarked, "It’s so cool."[1][2] Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins joined the champions for remarks to the press outside the West Wing.[1][2]
The event was described as the first White House visit for PRCA champions in more than four decades, with the previous occurring during President Ronald Reagan's term.[1]
