U.S. President Donald Trump invited YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul to speak at an event on March 11, 2026, at Verst Logistics in Hebron, Kentucky.[1][2] Trump offered Paul his "complete and total endorsement" should he pursue political office, predicting he would run "in the not-too-distant future."[1][3]
Paul, a 29-year-old native of Westlake, Ohio, praised Trump for teaching him courage to "never back down from a fight," adding that local Kentuckians shared that spirit.[1][2] Paul noted he grew up a few hours from the venue and called for more factories like Verst Logistics nationwide.[1]
Jake Paul, born January 17, 1997, transitioned from social media influencing to professional boxing, compiling a record of 11-1 with eight knockouts as of his most recent fight in November 2024.[4][5] His victories include former UFC champions Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva, as well as a majority decision win over heavyweight Mike Tyson on November 15, 2024.[4][5]
Trump recounted initial hesitation about appearing on Paul's podcast but praised his "guts."[1] Paul has previously voiced support for Trump's second-term administration, stating America was "healing slowly" under his leadership.[2]
Following the event, Paul posted a TikTok video showing the pair performing Trump's signature dance.[1] Paul has not announced plans to run for office.[2]
