Madison Chock and Evan Bates of the United States earned bronze medals in ice dance at the 2024 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, from March 18 to 24.[1][2]

The achievement followed their silver medal at the 2023 World Championships in Saitama, Japan, marking consecutive podium finishes.[1][3]

Chock and Bates, competing together since 2011, secured their fifth consecutive U.S. senior ice dance national title at the 2024 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Columbus, Ohio, on January 25.[4][5]

They contributed to the U.S. figure skating team's bronze medal in the team event at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.[6][7]

Chock and Bates, who are in a long-term relationship off the ice, have also won gold at the 2022 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final.[1][8]

Caroline Green and Michael Parsons placed fourth for the U.S. at the 2024 Worlds, while Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko finished 12th.[1][2]

The next ISU World Figure Skating Championships are scheduled for March 24–30, 2025, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.[9]
