Rashan Gary, defensive end for the Green Bay Packers, was selected in the first round, 12th overall, of the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Michigan.[1][2]
Gary has demonstrated positional versatility throughout his career, beginning as a defensive end before shifting to linebacker during his recovery from a 2020 shoulder injury and returning to the defensive line.[3][4]
In the 2023 season, Gary earned his second Pro Bowl selection after recording 9.5 sacks, 34 combined tackles, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery over 17 games.[1][5]
On August 29, 2023, Gary signed a four-year contract extension with the Packers worth $107.8 million, including $76 million guaranteed, keeping him with the team through the 2026 season.[6][7]
