The Bahrain Grand Prix is set for 11-13 April 2025 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, marking the fourth round of the Formula 1 World Championship.[1][2]
The race weekend includes practice sessions on Friday 11 April and Saturday 12 April, with the grand prix on Sunday 13 April.[1][2]
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix follows immediately as round five, scheduled for 18-20 April 2025 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Jeddah.[1][2]
These Middle East races come after the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka on 4-6 April and precede the Miami Grand Prix on 2-4 May, creating a four-week gap between Japan and Miami.[1][2]
The Bahrain International Circuit, a 5.412-kilometre track with 15 corners, has hosted an F1 grand prix annually since 2004 and features a floodlit evening race.[3][4]
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit, a 6.174-kilometre street circuit and the fastest on the calendar, hosted its first F1 race in 2021.[3][5]
Formula 1 teams typically begin shipping equipment to Gulf races several weeks in advance due to logistics from Europe.[6]
No changes to the Bahrain or Saudi Arabia events have been announced by Formula 1 officials.[1]
