Hip-hop artist Flavor Flav, whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr., has proposed hosting a party in Las Vegas for the United States women's national ice hockey team following the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.^[1][2]

Flavor Flav shared an email on social media platform X from his representative congratulating the team on their performance and offering to arrange dinners, shows and other festivities in Las Vegas if the team is interested.^[1]

The gesture appears linked to reports of the U.S. men's national ice hockey team receiving a White House invitation after the Olympics, with the email referencing a "not quite invite" for the women's team.^[1]

The U.S. women's team is affiliated with USA Hockey and features many players from the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL), a league that launched its inaugural season in January 2024.^[5][6]

This is not the first instance of Flavor Flav supporting U.S. Olympians. Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, he paid rent for discus thrower Veronica Fraley after she posted about financial difficulties on social media.^[3][4]

Flavor Flav responded publicly on X: "I gotchu, DM me and I’ll send payment TODAY so you don’t have to worry bout it TOMORROW, and imma be rooting for ya tomorrow LETZ GO!"^[3][4]

Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian also contributed more than $7,000 toward Fraley's rent, sharing a receipt on social media.^[3]

The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics took place from February 6 to 22 in Italy, with ice hockey events held at venues including the Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan.^[7]
