Veteran professional wrestler Dustin Rhodes, who captured the vacated AEW TNT Championship at All In Texas on July 12, 2025, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, outlasting Sammy Guevara, Daniel Garcia, and Kyle Fletcher in a four-way match, held the title for 19 days before losing it to Fletcher on July 31, 2025.[1][2]

Rhodes, a 55-year-old American performer signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since 2019 and also serving as a producer, subsequently underwent double knee replacement surgery and vacated the Ring of Honor (ROH) World Six-Man Tag Team Championship along with the ROH World Tag Team Championship, both promotions under the same ownership as AEW.[1][3]

In an interview with Fox News Digital following a dog show in the United Kingdom where his dog Beast placed third, Rhodes stated his recovery is progressing well. "I just had double knee replacements. So, they’re brand-new knees. They’re feeling pretty good. ... But probably two weeks, three weeks I’ll be back – TBS, TNT, HBO Max," he said.[1]

Rhodes, nearing eight months since his last AEW ring appearance, described AEW as an alternative to WWE, where he spent 24 years earlier in his career. "We are about wrestling, about putting on the best matches that we possibly can," he said, praising owner Tony Khan.[1][4]

AEW Revolution pay-per-view event is scheduled for March 15, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.[5]
