Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos have canceled their wedding scheduled for April 10, 2026, in Lake Como, Italy. The couple notified guests via email approximately one month before the planned date, stating they made the "very difficult decision" with "heavy hearts."[1][2]

The email, first reported by TMZ Sports, read: "As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers." No reason for the cancellation was provided in the message.[1][2]

Prescott, 32, has been the starting quarterback for the National Football Conference East Division club since 2016. He signed a four-year, $240 million contract extension with the Cowboys in September 2024, the richest deal in NFL history at the time.[3][4]

Prescott and Ramos, who began dating in 2021, announced their engagement on October 17, 2024. The couple have one daughter together, born in December 2023.[3][5]

Ramos shared photos from a bridal shower on February 23, 2025, via Instagram, expressing gratitude to family and friends but not mentioning Prescott. Prescott's most recent Instagram post featuring Ramos was on July 20, 2025.[1][2]
