Arkansas QB Taylen Green showcases dual-threat skills as 2025 NFL Draft prospect

Taylen Green served as the starting quarterback for the Arkansas Razorbacks during the 2024 college football season in the Southeastern Conference.[1][2]
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound quarterback from Billings, Montana, transferred to Arkansas from Boise State University prior to the 2024 campaign after three seasons with the Broncos.[1][3]
Green's college passing totals through 10 games in 2024 stand at 2,057 yards with 14 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, complemented by 308 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. His Boise State career (2021-2023) included 7,638 passing yards, 52 passing touchdowns, 25 interceptions, 1,877 rushing yards and 22 rushing touchdowns.[2][3]
Green's mobility aligns with a lineage of dual-threat college quarterbacks who have entered the NFL, including Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. Jackson, selected 32nd overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, overcame pre-draft projections as a wide receiver candidate to win NFL Most Valuable Player awards in 2019 and 2023.[4][5]
Some former college quarterbacks have transitioned to other positions professionally, such as Julian Edelman, who played wide receiver for the New England Patriots after starring as a QB at Kent State, and Terrelle Pryor, who shifted from Ohio State QB to wide receiver in the NFL.[3][6]
The Razorbacks play home games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with a capacity of 72,000.[1]
Green and other draft-eligible underclassmen and seniors are expected at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, scheduled for February 26 to March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.[7]
