The field of 68 teams for the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament was announced on Sunday by the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee.[1] Duke Blue Devils were named the No. 1 overall seed and top seed in the East Region.

Arizona Wildcats earned the No. 1 seed in the West Region, Florida Gators in the South Region, and Michigan Wolverines in the Midwest Region.

The top-ranked Duke is led by Cameron Boozer, a five-star recruit from the class of 2025 who committed to the Blue Devils in November 2023. Boozer, son of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, is projected as a potential top pick in a future NBA Draft.[2][3]

Arizona's Brayden Burries, another class of 2025 five-star recruit committed to the Wildcats, is expected to play a key role. The Wildcats compete in the Big 12 Conference following realignment.[4]
